EMDR Intensives
What is EMDR?
Research shows EMDR is a highly effective therapy for trauma, anxiety, depression, and related struggles. Many clients notice relief more quickly than with traditional talk therapy, as EMDR helps the brain reprocess painful memories, so they feel less overwhelming and more like “just a memory.” After EMDR, clients often describe feeling lighter, calmer, and more hopeful. Triggers that once felt intense begin to lose their power, and many report an increased sense of peace, confidence, and freedom to live more fully in the present.
EMDR Intensives
EMDR Intensives are longer therapy sessions—typically half-day (3 hours) or full-day (6 hours)—that give you the time and space to focus deeply on healing without the stop-and-start of weekly sessions. These extended sessions include planned breaks to keep you grounded and supported. Throughout the process, you are always in control, and it is your brain that is doing the healing.
This concentrated format allows you to process more in less time, often leading to quicker relief and meaningful progress. Intensives are especially helpful for those who have experienced recent or ongoing trauma, feel stuck despite traditional therapy, or want focused time to move through specific challenges.
They are also ideal for busy parents and professionals who are tired of juggling weekly appointments or leaving sessions feeling highly activated. With structured breaks and dedicated time, EMDR intensives offer an efficient, empowering, and compassionate path to lasting healing.

EMDR Intensives: A Focused Path Toward Lasting Healing
1
Healing doesn’t have to take years. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Intensives offer a focused, compassionate approach to processing the experiences that continue to cause pain, fear, or disconnection in your life.
2
Through the EMDR intensive model, we meet for longer, concentrated sessions that allow you to move through your healing work without the interruptions of traditional weekly therapy. This immersive process helps your brain safely reprocess and release painful memories—freeing you from patterns of distress, self-blame, or emotional overwhelm.
3
Many clients describe this approach as life-changing: relief that once felt out of reach becomes possible, clarity replaces confusion, and the sense of being “stuck” begins to shift. EMDR Intensives create space for meaningful, lasting transformation—helping you reconnect with your strengths, restore balance, and move forward with hope and confidence.
